YOU.FO India

From discovering a new sport to building a movement in India.

YOU.FO India is the national development platform for YOU.FO in India, working to introduce, develop and grow the sport through players, schools, communities, clubs, events and national teams.

YOU.FO originated in the Netherlands and has grown into an international sports movement. The sport combines an aerodynamic ring with specially designed sticks and can be enjoyed in freestyle play or as the official competitive team game, YOU.FO RingCross.

RingCross is a mixed-gender, non-contact and self-regulated team sport that can be played 3 vs 3, 4 vs 4 or 5 vs 5.

Our Mission
To introduce YOU.FO to more people across India, develop players and communities, and create opportunities for Indian athletes to compete at the national and international level.
Our Vision
To build YOU.FO into a recognised and accessible sport across India, with a strong grassroots community and a pathway to international competition.

The India Story

  1. The beginning

    One person, one new sport

The YOU.FO journey in India began with Cyril Veronis, who discovered and learned the sport and saw the opportunity to introduce it to a new sporting community in India. What started as learning a new game gradually became a mission to build something bigger.

  2. Chennai

Beaches, open spaces and first throws

Cyril brought YOU.FO to Chennai and began introducing the sport through demonstrations, community sessions, training sessions and events. From beaches and open spaces to organised sporting venues, YOU.FO started finding new players and new communities.

  3. Growth

    From sessions to a pathway

As interest grew, YOU.FO India began developing regular sessions, bootcamps, player development and competitive opportunities — expanding beyond individual sessions toward more schools, clubs, communities and cities across India.

  4. 2026

    Ya'an, China

That journey led to the creation of Team India and India's participation on the international YOU.FO stage. In 2026, India travelled to Ya'an, Sichuan Province, China, for the YOU.FO World Cup, represented by three teams and 12 athletes.

  5. Now

    Building the next stage

YOU.FO India is focused on developing players, creating more local hubs, introducing YOU.FO to new communities and building a sustainable pathway from first throw to international competition.
